Association Advocacy in COVID-19: The CARES Act and Future Legislation

In response to COVID-19, Congress passed the CARES Act, a $2.2 trillion relief package to provide Americans emergency aid and help combat the pandemic. While associations are included in some of the CARES Act’s programs, ASAE is very concerned that trade and professional associations experiencing severe revenue losses during the current pandemic were excluded from the popular and beneficial Paycheck Protection Program. Since passage of the legislation, over 3,500 organizations joined ASAE in asking Congress to include associations in the Paycheck Protection Program, and more have weighed in online and directly with their representatives. Join this webinar to hear the latest on ASAE’s advocacy related to COVID-19 relief, and how you can get involved.
